With over 28 years of experience in the field of multi-media, John has had exposure in all facets of production. Joining Vision Production, Inc in 1986, John worked as a production assistant for multi-media announcement shows. Quickly applying his skill sets in photography, programming and management, he moved through the ranks as head lab tech, photographer, senior programmer, line producer and show producer, until he was made V.P. of Vision Production, Inc in 1991 at the age of 25. With his command of five programming languages and strong management skills, he spearheaded the transition from photographic film to computer-generated presentations allowing Vision Production, Inc to benefit from the title of being the first company to blend film, video and computer-generated graphics; premiering this technology on the 1993 Ford Lincoln-Mercury Product Announcement Show. In 2000, John acquired Vision Production, Inc and now sits as the President and Sole Proprietor. Establishing his company as the premier media boutique for production of online-media and training for a variety of companies. Under his management, Vision Production, Inc has secured tier one supplier status with such companies as Ford Automotive, Toyota, Honda, United Auto Workers, Enzon Pharmaceuticals and Staples Office Supplies while also enjoying tier two status for Audi Automotive, Delphi, The Henry Ford, MGM Grand Casinos and Comcast Cable to name a few. In Addition to his involvement with Vision Production, Inc, John has also taken on an entrepreneur and philanthropic roles throughout his career. Commissioned to create a computerized accounting system by Detroit Optical Centers franchise owners and partnering in a nightclub venture for two years has allowed him to expand his business skill sets into both the retail and entertainment markets. Charitable roles include a seat on the board of the International Kids Alliance Network, Co-Chair of Human Rights Campaign events in Michigan and various donations of time and services to youth educational organizations. John continues to be the driving force that allows Vision Production, Inc to be on the forefront of new technology for the online-training and presentation events environment. Ken's role at Vision Production is that of Production Manager/Project Coordinator. He is responsible for coordinating all production assets, assigning, scheduling, supervising and tracking production, conducting reviews and QC processes, and has adopted activeCollab as the internal production management tool. In addition, he assists in the design, budgeting and pre-production planning of most projects. Ken has 25 years of experience developing and managing presentations, training and media products has provided a bounty of marketing, communication and production solutions for major corporations and small businesses. Working in the boutique setting at Vision Production has allowed Ken to develop closer relationships with both staff and client, which promotes a free transfer of information and a more successful working environment. |
Chris is Senior Designer for Vision Production. Chris creates visual solutions to communications problems that result in rich content, compelling interactions, and a high level of retention for the target audience. Chris's knowledge of instructional design and user retention theories is paramount in the delivery of concise, engaging and entertaining eLearning courses which comprise a large segment of Vision Production's core offerings. Chris has extensive knowledge of Flash, Flex, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, AS2, AS3, HTML, PHP and Javascript. |
Alex is an associate programmer and project developer with 6 years of professional experience in programming and a few years in graphic design and video production too. Alex is an expert in creating interactive experiences of all types including games, kiosks, web-based training, automotive devices and displays for live shows and events. He is also responsible for deployment and maintenance of eLearning courses and web-based productivity apps for multiple clients. |
Terri is the Office Manager/Production Support for Vision Production, Inc. Terri maintains both the daily operation of or our office and manages the accounts for upwards of 20 concurrent projects for our clients. These range from Global corporations to non-profit organizations. Terri also contributes with production support on multiple Web and interactive projects. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Access among the rest of Microsoft Office Professional 2010, Intuit QuickBooks Adobe Creative Suite 4 &5, HTML and AS2 and AS3 languages, various Social Networking protocols and Project Management applications (including activeCollab) Terri executes and compiles all client reporting, billing and system reporting requests. |
